At the Texas Restaurant Association, I manage all of our social media platforms. I use Hootsuite, Facebook Creator Studio, and Later to schedule posts across all platforms in a unified voice & brand. (And yes, I even made a TikTok.) I previously photographed many of our events and now work with a media company to facilitate photo and video needs, so there’s plenty of content to choose from.
At the Texas Restaurant Association, I trained and was the contact for our four metro offices, and sent out all emails from our headquarters in Austin, Texas. I use MailChimp to send marketing and promotional emails to multiple audiences, as well as manage a bi-weekly newsletter.
I manage TXRestaurant.org, TXRestaurantShow.com, and occasionally texasprostart.com, using iMIS Cloud/Rise & Wordpress as content management systems. My tasks include posting events, news posts, maintaining relevant content across all websites, and occasional HTML/CSS.
Each year, I create and execute Facebook advertisements to recruit & encourage restaurant owners and operators to attend our yearly trade show, the Texas Restaurant Show. I advertise across four major metro areas in Texas, catering our advertisements to each area appropriately.
In an effort to attract folks from all across the giant state of Texas and the surrounding states, I advertise for our yearly trade show (Texas Restaurant Show) across multiple publications to appeal to restaurateurs, restaurant owners and operators, as well as foodies from across the state to attend our annual fundraising party.
As the owner of Alexandra White Photo, it is my responsibility to maintain social media accounts to engage with booked clients and promote myself to potential clients. I maintain my portfolio via Squarespace. (You’re on it right now!)
