PNW Roadtrip
Somehow I managed to completely forget about this AMAZING trip I took with my friends in March, and I am so excited to share it with the world! I've known my friend Bailey for just about 8 years now; we met when I was photographing a band he was doing merch for on a tour stop in Houston. I was 16, he was 18, and the band needed a place to stay for the night. My parents were gracious enough to open their home to them, and Bailey and I kept in touch ever since! He recently moved to Nashville and had some time off, so we took a trip to the PNW together! He flew into Los Angeles and a couple days later I flew into San Francisco to join him on a road trip up to Seattle. We met up with his friend Geoff in San Francisco and had a crazy time just getting through California! The PCH recently suffered from a few landslides, so we got re-routed about 5 hours out of the way. Because of this we only got to spend a couple of hours in Portland, so I will definitely be going back! BUT OH MY GOSH GUYS THE REDWOODS. I will never get tired of seeing those beautiful trees. It's insane how big they've gotten! We spent the last two days of our trip in Seattle and I LOVED it there. We met up with the band Bailey is now guitar tech for, and I got to give them my stamp of approval for the Tex-Mex restaurant they took us to. ;) I seriously can't wait to go back and visit, when it's less cold! It's so beautiful there. Besides my minor panic attacks after being on two planes, I had so much fun. And this trip inspired me to see all 50 states by the time I'm 30! (I've been to 21 so far.) Enjoy what I captured below!
