Ashley & Ryan | Married in Driftwood

Ashley & Ryan got married on Ryan's family's property in Driftwood not long after I photographed their engagement session. The day was a little chillier than we expected, but the property was decorated so beautifully and everyone was able to keep warm with cozy blankets. (And the wind made for some amazing portraits!) All of their decor was made with care, and a lot of it was done by Ashley and her bridesmaids. Just by being on the property for less than 30 minutes, you could feel the love from these two families. After the ceremony, Ryan's brother drove us through the property to an amazing cliff overlooking a beautiful lake, so we got to take most of their portraits there. He even volunteered to throw Ashley's veil in a couple of shots! (Thanks again!) Seating at the reception was organized by postcards from places Ashely & Ryan have been, and I loved the unique approach of the table labels. The reception was held under a warm tent, where everyone shared laughter, tears, and a love of dancing their butts off! I also shot their engagement session, which can be found here.
